At Float Glass Design we are passionate about glass and we thrive on exploring its creative potential to produce stunning glass installations. We specialize in kiln form glass, also known as textured glass, creating fluid, organic textures enhanced by the natural green of the glass, and coloured kiln form glass full of rich vibrant colour.

OUR SERVICE

As one of the top independent architectural art glass companies in the U.K. we can design, manufacture and supply decorative and structural glass for a diverse range of projects from partition screens for commercial interiors to one-off art commissions.

With our wealth of technical expertise, innovative design ideas and direct hands-on approach we are able to offer a complete personal service to architects, designers, contractors and individual clients from conception to site assessment, design development, and bespoke production right through to installation.

OUR FACILITIES

We are a design led company with a team of highly skilled individuals who are dedicated to creating architectural decorative glass to a high standard where quality and individual design and technical considerations are paramount.

Our Brighton studio is fitted with complete in-house production facilities for a variety of techniques which allows us to be flexible and responsive from design to production. In our showroom we carry the full range of designs and samples and welcome clients to come down and discuss their potential projects with us.

OUR EXPERTISE

Mike Johansson is the driving force behind Float Glass Design which he set up 5 years ago to focus on his speciality - kiln form glass. With over 15 years experience in the creative glass industry his technical knowledge and inspirational flair have earned him the reputation as one of the leading figures in his field.
