Art commissions

Each commission is unique and reflects the wealth of potential available to commissioning bodies. From glacial-like carvings which can be an integral part of the architectural structure to intimate reflective paintings intended for small spaces and gorgeous patterns of vibrant colour to bring joy into the darkest of corners.

We set up Float Glass Design to create a glass studio where we can focus on large scale art glass commissions. As a husband and wife team we are able to combine our skills and be intimately involved with both the artistic process, design development, technical and site-specific considerations and the bespoke production.
