At Float Glass Design we specialize in the design and production of textured glass (also known as kiln form glass) - a technique which involves heating sheet glass over unique moulds to produce a variety of textures, patterns and designs which transform the surface of the glass.

The beauty of kiln formed glass is that we can emboss designs and textures directly into the glass, to create a stunning feature allowing light to pass through, whilst affording a degree of privacy at the same time. The fluid organic textures are enhanced by the natural green tint of the glass which seems to radiate the most extraordinary natural energy, soaking up the light to cast its glow back into the space.
